The AceBeam H50 runs three Samsung LH351D emitters behind a TIR lens for a 125° beam covering your whole field of vision — 2,000 lumens, 137 metres, from 62g. A single button toggles three lighting modes — all three emitters, the outer pair, or the centre alone — each with five brightness levels, so runtime stretches from 16 days of moonlight on All-ON to 30 days on Middle-ON. Independently measured at 99.6% of its claimed output. USB-C charging in the headlamp, runs 18650, CR123A or 16340, with a sweat-channelling reflective headband.

The H50 is a wide-beam headlamp built around three Samsung LH351D emitters behind a TIR optical lens, producing a 125° beam angle that lights your entire field of vision rather than a circle in front of you. Maximum output is 2,000 lumens with a 137-metre reach and 4,700 candela, from a unit weighing just 62g without a battery.
The feature the spec sheet buries is the three lighting modes. A single button toggles between All-ON (all three emitters), Two-Side-ON (the outer pair), and Middle-ON (the centre emitter alone) — and each has its own five brightness levels. That is fifteen distinct output settings, and it is far more useful than it sounds. Running fewer emitters at a given brightness draws less current, so Middle-ON gives dramatically longer runtimes: moonlight stretches from 16 days on All-ON to 30 days on Middle-ON, and Low runs 10 hours 30 rather than 3 hours 30.
On All-ON the levels are Turbo 2,000lm (2hr 15), High 1,000lm (2hr 30), Mid 450lm (3hr), Low 55lm (3hr 30) and Moonlight 10lm (16 days). Two-Side-ON runs 1,350 / 700 / 300 / 40 / 5 lumens with moonlight at 21 days. Middle-ON runs 650 / 350 / 150 / 20 / 3 lumens, with Mid holding 150 lumens for 9 hours — the setting most people will live on for camp and task work.
Independent testing confirms the output. ZeroAir measured 1,992 lumens at 30 seconds against the 2,000-lumen claim — 99.6%. Headlamp lumen claims are frequently optimistic, so a result this close to specification is worth knowing.
Charging is USB-C directly into the headlamp, which recharges an 18650 in place and is substantially faster than the micro-USB systems it replaced. Power comes from 1 × 18650, with 2 × CR123A or 2 × 16340 as alternatives — useful when lithium rechargeables run out somewhere remote. A battery indicator and low voltage protection are built in.
The body is aerospace-grade aluminium with a military-grade type III hard-anodised finish, measuring 83 × 33 × 26mm. Over-heat protection limits surface temperature during sustained high output — which matters more on a headlamp than a torch, since it sits against your forehead. The elastic headband has sweat channelling and reflective strips.
AceBeam also build the H50 with Nichia 219C emitters for CRI 90 colour accuracy and Osram emitters reaching 209 metres. This is the Samsung LH351D version — the brightest of the three, and the one to choose when raw output and wide coverage matter more than colour rendering or throw.
