The AceBeam Terminator M1 2.0 combines four light sources in one dual-head body: a zoomable LEP module adjustable from 3.1° to 23° reaching 1620 metres at 656,100 candela, a 3900-lumen LED floodlight, a new LEP + LED combo mode that eliminates blind spots, and a tactical red light with three levels plus strobe.
Controlled by a magnetic control ring with five positions including Lockout, powered by a 21700 5600mAh USB-C rechargeable battery, and built from AL6061-T6 aluminium rated IP68 — all at just 109.5mm and 323g.
The Acebeam Terminator M1 2.0 is a genuinely rare thing: a torch that does four separate jobs properly rather than four jobs adequately. Its dual-head design houses a zoomable LEP module alongside a four-LED floodlight array, with a tactical red light and a combined LEP + LED mode rounding out the system. Five modes, one torch, no compromise on any of them.
The LEP module is the headline act. Laser Excited Phosphor technology produces the tightest, longest-reaching beams available in handheld lighting, and the M1 2.0 pushes that to 1620 metres at 656,100 candela — over a mile and a half of usable reach.
What sets it apart from fixed LEP torches is the zoom mechanism: rotate the LEP head and the beam angle adjusts continuously from an ultra-narrow 3.1° for maximum distance out to 23° for a wider searching beam. It’s the difference between a fixed-focus tool and one that adapts to what’s in front of you.
The LED floodlight — upgraded from 3500 to 3900 lumens in this generation — handles everything the LEP can’t. Six levels from a 2-lumen Ultra Low running 9.5 days through to 3900-lumen Turbo cover camp lighting, close-quarters work, ground navigation, and general use with a wide, even beam optimised for close range.
The LEP + LED combo mode is the M1 2.0’s most significant functional upgrade. Running both light sources simultaneously pairs far-reaching search capability with close-up ground illumination — a combination that eliminates the dangerous blind spot directly in front of you that pure-LEP torches create. In combo Turbo it delivers 3400 lumens with a 1580-metre reach.
For search and rescue teams moving over unfamiliar ground while scanning at distance, this mode alone justifies the upgrade.
The tactical red light offers three levels plus strobe, with a 15-lumen Low running for 300 hours. Red light preserves natural night vision, won’t attract insects, and supports covert operation where white light would compromise position. The red strobe doubles as an emergency distress signal.
Control is handled by a magnetic control ring with five positions — Lockout, LEP, LED, Red Light, and LEP+LED Combo — allowing instant, unambiguous mode selection by feel alone. The side switch handles on/off, double-press Turbo, triple-press Strobe, and brightness cycling, while the tactical tail switch provides instant Turbo in any mode with momentary half-press support.
Power comes from an included 21700 5600mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery with a battery level indicator for at-a-glance status. The USB-C charging port is protected by a durable metal cover — a notable upgrade over the previous generation’s rubber flap, resisting ageing and maintaining seal integrity over years of use. The battery is fully replaceable for instant swap-and-go operation.
Aerospace-grade AL6061-T6 aluminium with HA III hard-anodised finish, IP68 submersion to 2 metres for 30 minutes, and 1-metre drop resistance complete a torch built for genuine field use.
