The Lumintop GT Nano Plus gets 450 metres of throw and 1200 lumens out of a torch weighing 58g, using a Luminus SFT-25R emitter to produce 50,625 candela from a keychain-sized head. This bundle adds a 2000mAh 14100 cell and extension tube — roughly 2.5× the capacity of a typical 14500, and the torch also takes a 14500 or a standard AA — so it runs on a battery you can buy anywhere.

Five levels from Turbo down to a 48-hour Eco, USB-C charging, stainless steel switch, IPX8 to 2 metres.

PRODUCT INFO

The Lumintop GT Nano Plus exists to answer one question: how much throw can you get out of something that still lives on a keyring? The answer is 450 metres. The torch measures 103 × 32 × 19mm and weighs 58g without a battery, yet it puts 50,625 candela down range — the kind of reach normally associated with a torch several times its size.

Beam and Throw

That comes from the Luminus SFT-25R LED at 6500K, a throw-focused emitter with a small, dense die that suits a compact reflector far better than a wide-die LED would. The beam is a tight, well-defined hotspot rather than a wall of light, which is exactly what you want when the job is identifying something at distance rather than lighting the ground at your feet.

What’s in the Bundle

This is the extended-runtime bundle. Alongside the torch it includes a 14100 Li-ion cell rated at 2000mAh and the matching extension tube, which lengthens the body to take it. The standard GT Nano Plus runs a 14500 or a single AA. A typical 14500 holds around 800mAh, so at 2000mAh the included 14100 carries roughly two and a half times the capacity — the same torch, running far longer between charges.

Lumintop publishes ANSI figures for the 14500 and AA configurations only, so treat the runtimes below as the baseline; the 2000mAh 14100 extends them substantially.

Output and Runtime

On a 14500 the five levels run Eco 8lm (48 hours), Low 40lm (8 hours), Med 160lm (2hr 15min), High 450lm and Turbo 1200lm. Drop in a standard AA and it still works — Eco 5lm (33 hours) through to Turbo 270lm — which matters more than it sounds.

An AA is available in any service station, corner shop or campsite kiosk anywhere in the world, so the torch is never dead for want of a specific cell.

Runtimes on High and Turbo are quoted cumulatively because the overheat protection steps output down and back up as the body temperature allows. In a torch this small that is physics, not a flaw — there is simply not enough aluminium to sink 12 watts indefinitely. The protection set also covers reverse polarity, overcharge, and over-discharge.

Charging

The 14500 charges in the torch over USB-C, so there is no separate charger to carry or lose. Controls run through a stainless steel switch with clear tactile feedback and a deliberately simple interface — five levels, no menu diving. The body is aluminium, rated IPX8 for submersion to 2 metres and 1 metre of impact resistance.
