The Lumintop FW21 Pro V2 puts 10,000 lumens from three LEDs into a body just 104mm long — a wide flood beam built to light an entire area rather than reach a distant target, at 26,055 candela and 325 metres. Turbo runs 60 seconds before stepping to around 900 lumens for a further two hours, while Low gives 120 hours and Eco runs 13 days. Controlled by a stainless steel tail switch with a simple UI — not Anduril. Requires one unprotected flat-top 21700 (max 70.5mm) and an external charger. Type III hard-anodised aluminium, IPX8.

PRODUCT INFO

The FW21 Pro V2 is a pocket-sized wall of light. Three high-performance LEDs behind an aluminium orange peel reflector and an AR-coated glass lens produce a claimed 10,000 lumens from a body just 104mm long with a 40mm head, running a single 21700 cell.

Understand the beam before you buy. Ten thousand lumens sounds like it should reach a long way, but peak intensity is 26,055 candela for a 325-metre beam. That ratio — an orange peel reflector and a triple emitter — makes this a flood light. It fills a campsite, a shed, a cave or a work area with even light and no dark edges. It is not a thrower, and a focused torch with a tenth of these lumens will out-reach it. Buy it for coverage, not distance.

Be equally clear about Turbo. The 10,000-lumen level runs for 60 seconds and then steps down to around 900 lumens, which it then holds for a further 2 hours 5 minutes. That is physics rather than a flaw — nothing this size can sustain 10,000 lumens — but it is the sort of thing that should be on the page rather than discovered afterwards. High behaves similarly: 1420 lumens for two minutes, then 900 lumens for 2 hours 10.

The lower levels are where the runtime is. Low at 25 lumens runs 120 hours, and Eco at 7 lumens runs an extraordinary 13 days. For camping, power outages or leaving a torch running as a marker, those numbers matter far more than the headline. Strobe, SOS and Beacon round out the modes.

Control is a stainless steel electronic tail switch: one click for on and off, two clicks for Turbo, and hold to reach Eco or cycle outputs. This is worth noting if you know the FW series — the V2 uses a simple, intuitive interface rather than the Anduril firmware of the original FW21 Pro and the FW3A. If you want the deep programmable UI, this is not that torch; if you found Anduril frustrating, this is the version to buy.

The body is aircraft aluminium with a Type III hard-anodised finish, with cooling fins to shed the heat three LEDs generate, a stainless steel pocket clip, and a flat tail that lets it tail-stand as an area light. It is rated IPX8 — submersible to 2 metres — and tested to 1 metre of impact resistance.

Battery requirement: the FW21 Pro V2 takes a single 21700 Li-ion cell — unprotected, flat-top, maximum 70.5mm. As with the rest of the FW family the body is built as short as possible, so a protected cell will not fit, and there is no onboard charging. Plan on a compatible cell and an external charger. The Efest 21700 6000mAh twin pack is the right fit — flat-top, unprotected and 70mm — and the XTAR MC2 charger handles it. Note the Efest is rated to 10A continuous, so expect Turbo to sag a little sooner than it would on a high-drain cell.
