The Lumintop EDC20 is 81mm long and weighs 108g with its battery fitted — genuinely pocket-sized — and it throws 600 metres. That combination is unusual. Most torches this small trade reach for size; the EDC20 holds 90,000 candela, which is thrower territory, in a body that disappears into a jacket pocket.
This is the extended bundle. The standard EDC20 ships with an 18350 cell. This version adds the extension tube and an 18650 battery, which is the configuration most people end up wanting. The difference is substantial: on the 18350 the moonlight mode runs five days; on the 18650 it runs thirteen.
You can run it short and stubby for pocket carry, or fit the tube for a longer body and far more capacity — same torch, two personalities.
Eight modes are available from a single side switch: Moonlight (3lm), Low (65lm / 9 hours), Med (400lm / 1hr 50min), High (1000lm), Turbo (2000lm), plus Strobe, SOS and Beacon at 1000 lumens. Everything is reachable one-handed without menu diving. Runtimes on High and Turbo are quoted cumulatively because overheat protection steps output down and back up — expected behaviour when you are pulling 2000 lumens through 81mm of aluminium.
The magnetic tail cap is the feature that earns its keep daily. Stick the torch to a bonnet, a switchboard door, a steel beam, the underside of a sink, and you have hands-free light exactly where you need it. Paired with the 3-lumen moonlight mode, it also makes a serviceable overnight marker light that will still be running days later.
Charging is USB-C straight into the torch from a power bank, laptop, or wall adapter. Protection covers overcharge, over-discharge, reverse polarity and overheat, with intelligent temperature regulation managing sustained output. The body is aluminium, rated IPX8 for submersion to 2 metres and 1 metre of impact resistance.
