PRODUCT INFO

This is the White Light version of the X80GT 3 — the configuration built for maximum output. 24 high-intensity 6000K LEDs produce 30,000 lumens with a 430-metre beam at 46,225 candela, from a body compact enough to carry into a cave system.

Be clear about how that 30,000 behaves. Turbo holds the full output for 20 seconds, steps to 3,500 lumens for roughly 1.8 hours, then settles at 150 lumens for a further 2 hours. That is the pattern across the upper levels — High gives 15,000 lumens for 90 seconds before the same step-down, and Med 2 holds 7,200 for 7 minutes. The number to plan around is 3,500 lumens sustained; the burst is there to read a scene instantly, not to run continuously. No torch this size can shed the heat of 30,000 lumens for long.

The lower levels are where the endurance sits. Ultra Low runs 150 lumens for 23.5 hours, Low gives 650 lumens for 8.5 hours, and Med 1 holds 2,300 lumens for 3 hours — genuinely useful working outputs with runtimes to match.

Stepless dimming runs from 150 to 3,500 lumens, so you set the exact brightness a task needs rather than stepping between fixed levels. Output quality is handled by an FCCM boost constant-current driver and non-PWM dimming — completely flicker-free, which matters over long underground sessions and when filming. The lens is 4mm anti-reflective glass.

The charging is what separates this version from its sibling. The White Light X80GT 3 runs a built-in 4 × 18650 pack with 60W USB-C fast charging that refills it in about an hour. The trade is that the pack is not swappable. If you would rather carry spare cells and swap them in the field than wait on a charge, the Multi-Light-Source version uses a removable battery compartment instead — and adds 660nm red and 365nm UV emitters, at the cost of this version’s higher output and onboard charging.

A magnetic mechanical lock handles safety and mode selection. Carry it handheld, by the patented detachable handle — fitted for grip, removed for storage — or mount it on a tripod via the UNC ¼” threaded socket. The body is CNC-machined AL6061-T6 aluminium alloy, anodised for scratch and wear resistance, rated IP68 and drop-proof to 1 metre.

  • Caving and underground exploration — the application AceBeam designed it for: 30,000 lumens to read a chamber, 3,500 sustained to work by, 23.5 hours on Ultra Low
  • Search and rescue — a 430-metre beam and an instant burst to take in a whole scene, recharged in about an hour between deployments
  • Emergency services and incident response — fast 60W recharge means it is ready again quickly rather than sitting on a charger overnight
  • Large-area and industrial inspection — tripod mountable via the UNC ¼” socket for fixed lighting of a work area
  • Expedition and remote work — IP68 sealing, detachable handle, and flicker-free output over long sessions
  • Choose the Multi-Light version instead if you need red or UV light, or prefer swapping cells in the field over onboard charging
