The AceBeam X35 packs 20,000 lumens from 3 × CREE XHP70.2 LEDs into a body roughly the size of a smartphone — 134.5mm long — producing an exceptionally wide, uniform beam that reaches 458 metres. An RGB auxiliary side light panel switches between white and full colour for camp lighting and visibility, powered by two 21700 5000mAh tabless 30A batteries with triple balanced protection.
Add a magnetic tail cap, detachable handle with integrated button, dual independent switches, USB-C charging with a machined metal port cover, and an IP66-rated AL6061-T6 body, and you have a genuinely capable search and rescue tool that fits in a jacket pocket.
Twenty thousand lumens from something the size of a phone. That’s the AceBeam X35 in a sentence — and the way it achieves that output matters as much as the number itself.
Three CREE XHP70.2 LEDs work together to produce an exceptionally wide, uniform beam rather than a concentrated hotspot. There are no dark edges, no harsh transitions, no bright centre surrounded by dim spill. When you’re searching a paddock, a cavern, a collapsed structure, or a bush track, that even coverage is worth more than raw throw — you see everything in front of you at once.
Turbo still reaches 458 metres at 52,441 candela when distance is what you need, and seven output levels give precise control from a 40-lumen Ultra Low running 58 hours through to the full 20,000-lumen wall of light.
The RGB auxiliary side light panel is what turns the X35 from a search tool into a genuinely versatile piece of kit. In white mode it offers four levels — from a 9-lumen Low running 106 hours up to a 190-lumen Turbo — providing soft, wide area lighting for camp, tent, vehicle work, or task illumination without the intensity of the main beam.
In RGB mode it produces coloured light for signalling, visibility, night vision consideration, or simply setting the scene at camp. A dedicated second switch controls the side light independently of the main light, so you can run either or both without cycling through modes.
Power comes from two AceBeam 21700 5000mAh tabless high-drain batteries rated at 30A continuous discharge — the sustained current the triple XHP70.2 array demands at Turbo. Triple balanced protection technology keeps both cells safe, stable, and evenly matched throughout the discharge cycle.
Charging is handled by a USB-C port with a precision-machined metal cover — significantly more durable than the rubber flaps used on most torches — and battery swap support means a fresh set gets you back to work in seconds rather than hours.
The detachable handle carries its own button, so the X35 can be operated without shifting your grip when the handle is fitted. Remove the handle and the main body switch takes over naturally. A magnetic tail cap allows the X35 to be stuck to any steel surface for hands-free work — under a bonnet, on a roll bar, against a machinery frame — freeing both hands for the task.
Built from aerospace-grade AL6061-T6 aluminium with a hard-anodised finish, IP66 rated against powerful water jets and tested to survive 1-metre drops, the X35 is backed by AceBeam’s 10-year warranty. At 480.81g it has real presence in the hand, but at 134.5mm long it still slips into a pack pocket or vehicle console.
