The P20 Mini takes the long-range capability AceBeam’s P-series is known for and compresses it into a body you can carry comfortably on a belt. At 175mm long with a 65mm head and 305.8g in hand, it’s genuinely portable — yet it projects a beam to 1035 metres at 267,806 candela of peak intensity, outperforming torches considerably larger.
The performance comes from the Luminus SFT-60-W LED, built on Luminus’s next-generation vertical chip technology. The vertical chip architecture produces a more uniform emission surface than conventional designs, which translates directly to beam quality: a clean, evenly lit hotspot without the tint rings or artefacts that plague many high-throw emitters, and consistent colour across the entire beam. For target identification at distance, beam quality matters as much as raw candela — and the P20 Mini delivers both.
Seven output levels cover the full spectrum of use. Turbo unleashes 4000 lumens and the full 1035-metre reach, stepping to a sustained 1000 lumens for a further 2.5 hours. High (2000lm), Med 2 (1000lm), Med 1 (500lm), and Low (200lm) provide practical working levels, while Ultra Low at 15 lumens runs for a remarkable 150 hours — genuinely useful for multi-night trips. A Strobe mode at full output is available for signalling and defensive use.
Non-PWM dimming is a specification worth noting. Rather than rapidly pulsing the LED to simulate lower brightness — the approach used by most torches — the P20 Mini regulates current directly. The result is completely flicker-free light at every level, significantly reducing eye fatigue during prolonged use and eliminating the strobing artefacts that appear when filming or photographing under PWM light.
Power comes from an included 21700 6400mAh high-drain battery supporting 25A continuous discharge — the current capability the SFT-60-W needs to sustain Turbo output without voltage sag. Charging is handled two ways: a USB-C port on the torch body, protected by a durable metal cover that blocks dust and debris, or a USB-C port built directly into the battery. Carry a spare battery and you can swap in seconds rather than waiting for a charge — meaningful when the torch is a working tool rather than a weekend accessory.
The dual-switch interface separates functions cleanly: a side switch for mode selection during sustained use, and a tactical tail switch for instant Turbo access without cycling. Built from AL6061-T6 aluminium with a HA III hard-anodised anti-abrasive finish, the P20 Mini is IP68 rated — fully submersible to 2 metres for 30 minutes — and tested to survive 1.5-metre drops.
